Moon Babies

RMIT 2017

Our bodies are a vessel in which we store abstract notions such as thoughts and dreams, aspirations and desires. I am interested in the duality of performing an exterior character while withholding a more private persona inside.

Feelings are hard to express accurately but can be described while likening it to an experience that others can relate to.

I am the centre of my universe and I can only look outward from myself into the windows of others and their own universe.

This project explores the idea of the person as a vessel into which we are invited to look inside to share a moment of private intimacy.

This project explores the idea of looking inside a vessel/ person to share a moment of private intimacy.

I created a hollow body, showing an exterior character. Inside of this body I can store a private interior persona.
